Social & Community Participation
Building Skills, Making Friends, and Engaging with Your World
Beyond Socialising, Purposeful Participation
Your NDIS journey isn't just about care; it’s about wellbeing. Research consistently shows that staying active in your community improves mental health, builds confidence, and creates new support networks.
At All-In-One Care, we use your funding to reduce the barriers between you and the activities you love. Whether it’s joining a sports team in Melbourne, attending the Mona Museum gallery in Hobart, having fun at the Sydney Royal Easter Show or simply grabbing a coffee in the quiet and cozy part in town, we provide the extra support you need to show up as your best self.
Why Us?
Use the checkmark style to highlight your professional standards without losing the energy.
Why the All-In-One Crew?
✅ NDIS Registered & Reliable: We’ve been supporting the community since [Year], meeting every Quality & Safeguard standard.
✅ Qualified, High-Energy Team: Our support workers don't just "show up"—they bring the energy, with qualifications that go way beyond industry minimums.
✅ Hyper-Personalized Matches: We don't believe in "one size fits all." We build a core team around you based on what you love doing.
✅ Local Faces, Local Support: You’ll have a dedicated Regional Manager you can actually call. We’re part of your community, not a faceless office.

“What if I want to do something that isn't on the list?"
Then we DO THAT!
We aren't a limited activity provider. If you want to go to a specific concert, visit a niche museum, or learn how to bake a very specific type of sourdough—we build the support around you.
SKY IS THE LIMIT - AS LONG AS YOU ARE SAFE!
We don't just send "a worker." We use our Compatibility Matching System to find a support worker who actually shares your interests.
If you love hiking, we send a walker.
If you’re into gaming, we send a gamer.
If you want to learn cooking, we send someone who knows their way around it and also loves to eat!

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Under NDIS 2025-26 rules, your funding covers the support worker's time and their travel to get you there. You’ll just need to cover your own "out-of-pocket" costs—like your movie ticket, your lunch, or your footy entry.
Pro Tip: Most of our participants use a Companion Card so their support worker gets in for free!
-
Not at all! While we love a group hang, we specialize in 1:1 support. This means it’s just you and your support worker doing exactly what you want to do. If you feel like being social later on, we can introduce you to some of the other crew members at our community events.
-
To make sure we can get stuck into a proper activity, we usually have a 2-hour minimum for community access. This gives us enough time to get there, have some fun, and get home without rushing.
-
Life happens! We just ask for 7 days' notice for cancellations so we can let our workers know. If something urgent pops up, give your Regional Manager a call as soon as you can.
-
If your NDIS plan has Core Supports (Category 4) or Capacity Building (Category 9), you’re likely good to go! If you're unsure, send us a copy of your goals and our intake team will do the "math" for you to show you how many hours of fun you have available.
-
Safety is our #1 priority. Currently, the All-In-One crew supports participants who are mobile and don't require PEG feeding or assisted breathing. Check out our [Support Entry Criteria] for the full details on who we can best support right now.
How Your Funding Works (NDIS 2025-26)
Social and community participation is funded under two different parts of your plan. We help you use both effectively:
1. Core Supports (Everyday Assistance)
NDIS Category: 04 Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation
What it does: This is your "flexible" funding. It pays for a support worker to go with you to an activity.
Examples: A worker to help you change into sports gear, navigate a crowded festival, or support you while you volunteer.
2. Capacity Building (Skill Development)
NDIS Category: 09 Increased Social and Community Participation
What it does: This is "stated" funding used for learning. It’s about building the skills so that one day, you might not need a support worker to go with you.
Examples: Public transport training, social skills workshops, or mentoring to help you join a new club independently.
What Can the NDIS Fund?
A common question we get is: "Will the NDIS pay for my movie ticket?" According to the 2025-26 Guidelines, the NDIS funds the support you need to participate, not the activity itself.
